Fudoshin

IMPORTANT: This game was made for a competition that was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and so the game was never finished. Regardless, a fair amount of work was done on the game, and this work can be seen in the provided screenshots.

Fudoshin is a fighting game based on Judo. Instead of a traditional fighting game, where you use punches and kicks to decrease the health of your opponents, you can only grab and throw your opponents to win the most points, similar to real-life Judo. In the story mode, you compete at Fudoshin, an international Judo competition, to regain your family's honor after your grandfather lost many years ago. To be declared the champion of Fudoshin, you must successfully win three rounds against opponents from all over the globe. In between rounds, you can roam the area outside the fighting arena and talk to Fudoshin spectators. In multiplayer, you can play rounds against other human players.
